About

Welcome to the House of Hills! Come on in and sit awhile!! We are so glad you stopped by!

I’m Kathy, Mom of the House, and I share the happenings of the House of Hills here on this blog. What started out as a way to share stories and photos with friends and family has become a creative outlet for this working mom, as well as a way to share what I learn daily in my walk as a wife, mom, and friend.

At the House of Hills, we strive to LIVE life to glorify God, LOVE God and LOVE people, and SERVE those around us. Our favorite times are those we spend together as a family, and our favorite place to vacation is Disney. You’ll hear much about the Mouse here.

My Sweetie, David, and I have been married twelve years and continue to fall more in love each year. (Truly, we do.) We were blessed with The Princess, Maggie, eight years ago. She keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh. Our little family of three resides in Metro-Atlanta surrounded by family and friends.

Hi – I found you from angry julie’s newbie blissdom linky. I look forward to meeting someone who’s mission is “to LIVE life to glorify God, LOVE God and LOVE people, and SERVE those around us.” Amen. Hoping there are many Christians like you at Blissdom – where I will be sticking out like a very sore thumb – terrifying.

    God Bless

I would love to know more about how to get into theater life in Cumming Georgia. I have 2 daughters 5, and 10. They have both been involved with modeling and talents expos but we want more and local! Any suggestions?
    Thanks

We love Off Broadway Dance in Alpharetta. In addition, there is RISPA which is just south on Hwy 9. There is also the Forsyth Academy of Performing Arts. The Cumming Playhouse sometimes needs kids for their productions, so be sure to watch for auditions there. That’s all I’ve got. I’d love to hear more about what you do with your girls.
