Have you ever REALLY needed a vacation? Like REALLY needed one. Needed to step of the treadmill, stop the madness, get away? Ya, that’s where I was last week. I REALLY needed this vacation.

Here are the top ten things I’m doing this week…

1. NOTHING – as in literally just sitting

2. Riding the waves with this cutie. She is LOVING the surf – to the point where she has scrapes up her legs from the shells but wants to keep riding them in.

3. Reading – I actually read a book yesterday. For fun. Not for work. Not for book club. Just for fun. Ahhhh….

4. Catching up on blogs I love. I haven’t had time lately to read all the ladies I enjoy reading. I’m fixing that this week.

5. Writing some blog posts. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been slack there too – no time. Enjoying some writing time this week.

6. Selling our house – hopefully. We received a decent offer Sunday night. Now it’s the back and forth of the counter-offers. PRAYING that it all works out.

7. Staring at this view and praising God for His creation. Beautiful.

8. Kayaking for the first time. That was an experience. These two were WAY better at it (and cuter) than me.

9. Sleeping. Just sleeping. Like going to bed at 9:30 and getting up at 7:30. That kind of sleeping. Ahhhhh…

10. Hmmmm… not sure what else. There’s nothing really planned. For those that know me – that is shocking. But needed. Just being is what we needed to do. We might head into Charleston in the AM. The Princess wants to go to the Children’s Museum. Maybe we’ll lunch at Sticky Fingers – My Sweetie’s favorite place. Who knows?
